Chances are that by now you’ve seen one of the Verizon “Map for That” Ads that clearly are a thorn in AT&T’s side as for late.  Back at the beginning of the month AT&T filed a lawsuit against Verizon seeking an injunction against advertisements they claim are false advertising and deceptive trade practices.  Verizon changed a few words, however, the advertising continued.

A federal court judged, yesterday, denied AT&T’s request for the Verizon ads to be pulled off the air.  The fight over whether or not the ads are false and misleading will continue, however, i suspect that the “Map for That” ads currently running will continue and I’d be willing to bet that new ones are on the way.
