It’s been well over a month since we’ve last seen pictures of the upcoming BlackBerry Torch 2, however. TechnoBuffalo has posted a few new images of the second coming of the full touch screen BlackBerry with a slide out keyboard.

The BlackBerry Torch 2 looks almost identical to the original Torch 9800, however, once you look at the hardware that BlackBerry Torch 2 is packing you will see that aesthetics are where the similarities end.  The BlackBerry Torch sports a 1.2 GHz processor.  That’s double the speed of the 624 MHz processor found in its predecessor.  Other BlackBerry Torch 2 features include:

• Radio: Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE ; Tri-band HSPA 14.4Mbps
• Display: 3.2? VGA – 480 x 640 capacitive touchscreen display
• Memory: 8GB storage + 512MB RAM + up to 32GB MicroSD
• Connectivity: WiFi + Bluetooth + NFC
• Camera: 5 MP
• Battery: 1300MAh battery
• Dimension: 14.6mm thick
• Sensors: magnetometer
