Sprint Any Mobile Anytime Plan

Sprint has officially announced their new Any Mobile Anytime plan which gives you unlimted calling to any mobile phone in the United States along with unlimited data, including BlackBerry Internet Service, and 450 anytime minutes all for $69.99 per month.

I’ve got to say that this sounds like one heck of a deal, but, then there is always the fine print.

To make a long story short the Any Mobile Any Time plan isn’t particularly friendly to those roam a lot.  When you read the fine print you will find the following usage limitation:

“Sprint may terminate service if (1) more than 800 minutes, (2) a majority of minutes or (3) a majority of kilobytes in a given month are used while roaming.â€

The problem with this limitation is that roaming, on most other Sprint plans, is free.  This isn’t a huge deal if you don’t roam all that often, but, the thing is if you never roam and want a really cheap unlimited plan with unlimited data, you could always go with a pre-paid plan like those offered by Boost Mobile which will only set you back $50 per month and you don’t have to sign up to a contract…

The Any Mobile Anytime plan is, however, a really good deal if you are a BlackBerry user and rarely roam because the pre-paid carriers don’t usually offer BIS.
