BGR was able to get his hands on the upcoming BlackBerry Touch (Monaco/Monza) and has done a brief review as well as posted a bunch of picks of the device online. It looks like the the BlackBerry Touch (name not confirmed) will not be part of the BlackBerry Storm line and SurePress is a thing of the past.
The BlackBerry Touch will run BlackBerry OS 6.1 and use a BlackBerry ID as compared to a PIN, allowing for cloud based backup and recovery as well as cloud based contact sharing and device switching as a function of the BlackBerry ID. The BlackBerry Touch isn’t expected to be released for the next 3 to 4 months, however, the device is expected to be officially announced at BlackBerry World.
